Founded by Faith Uluwajimi, Bloke is a unisex (genderless, unisexual, androgynous) artisanal label that first launched in Abeokuta in 2013. Today, its workshop and flagship can be found in the capital, Lagos.
Mentored and trained in knitting as a spectator turned novice (another wow!), Faith has built into the label a luxurious yet raw element that we find so endearing.
The kind of knits that you’d just love to crawl inside of on a rainy day and snuggle. The considered cuts, earthen buttoning and hand-painted trousers are how we would love to encourage more men in America to style themselves of a summer morning!

Admirers aside, Faith has also received accolades by Vogue Italia as one of the Top 200 Fashion Brands Changing Fashion Globally.
He has been awarded the Emerge Alana and recipient of the Lagos Fashion Week Fashion Focus fund.
In November 2020, Faith was selected as an Arise Fashion Week 30 under 30 finalist to showcase the SS21 collection which was then
highlighted by L’Officiel USA as one of the Top 10 African Designers Shaping Global Fashion.
BLOKE is undoubtedly at the cutting edge of sustainable fashion on a global scale.
We are particularly fond of the peek-a-boo cuts and luscious fit of delicate knitted dresses.
